Florida Today is reporting that the State Attorney has charged a Melbourne police officer for falsifying Florida traffic tickets. He has been accused of acting with corrupt intent by falsifying records or official documents involving Florida traffic citations.

Frank Carter was charged with official misconduct for actions that took place between April 26 and September 27. This is the second highly publicized incident of a law enforcement officer written fake traffic tickets. The first case centered around a Florida Highway Patrol officer in South Florida.
